Fine Art Association of Milton Juried Show 2026

I was deeply honoured to receive an Honourable Mention for my pastel, plein air painting, “Indian Summer on the Humber River Trail”. This painting was painted on a warm day fall day, known as an “Indian Summer” on Sept 30, Reconciliation Day, on the grounds of the McMicheal Canadian Art Collection. Thank you to Fine Art Milton members who worked hard behind the scenes to create such a wonderful experience for artists and a beautifully mounted show. Thanks too to the jurors Joanne Poluch of Remarque Art Consulting and Claudia Pettigrew from Summer and Grace Gallery and congratulations to my fellow artists. The show at Holcium Gallery, 1010 Main St E, Milton, Ontario, will continue until Oct 3, 2026.

Artists in Residence at Open Studios Culture Days at the Art Gallery of Burlington

I’m currently one of the Artists in Residence at the Art Gallery of Burlington from Sept 2025 – 2026. On Sept 26, 2026 from 1-4pm. I will be demonstrating my plein air process and exhibiting some of the artwork that I produced during this residency. as part of Open Studio Culture Days at the Art Gallery of Burlington. The Art Gallery is located at 1333 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario. My acrylic painting, “Golden Memories of an Autumn Day”, 24″ x 36″ will be one of the paintings on display.

Ontario Society of Artists New Members Show

Delighted to participate in the Ontario Society of Artists New Members’ Exhibition. “Beneath the Sweet Magnolia Tree” and “Walking on Sunshine II” will be featured along with the work of 20 other artists at the Gallery on Base31, located 343 County Rd 22 Building 26, Picton, Ontario. The show will run from Wednesday July 29 to August 16, 2026 with the finissage on August 16, 12 – 2pm. I’ll be on painting on location on Wednesday July 29th from 10 – 4pm.

Elora Plein Air Festival People’s Choice Award

I was honoured to have my pastel, “Summer Song of the Gorge”, win the People’s Choice Award at the Elora Plein Air Festival. Thank you to all of those who voted for my pastel painting in the exhibition at the Elora Centre for the Arts during the May long weekend and for all of the volunteers who help to make this such a wonderful annual event for plein air artists.

Pastel Society of Eastern Canada’s 30th Anniversary Exhibition

Honoured to have my pastel, “Snow Shadows” juried into the International Exhibition The Pastellists 2025, to celebrate the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (Pastel Sec) Thirtieth Anniversary . This exhibition, which opens Oct 11, will be exhibited from October 8th to 26th, at Espace Quatre Cents in Québec City. My pastel was one of 182 pastel paintings selected from 375 artworks submitted by 107 artists. Adding to these pastels, will be 65 pastels from France for this combined international pastel exhibition. Burlington Fine Art Association The Artist’s Mark
