Honoured to have my pastel paintings “Quiet Beauty of a Winter’s Day” and “Reflections of Moffat Pond” juried into the Women’s Art Association of Hamilton show ”Spacial Concepts”, located at the Cotton Factory, 270 Sherman Ave. N Unit 182 – Mill Arts Building. The opening is this Friday Nov 25, 2022. 7pm. The show continues until Feb 10, 2023.

2022 IAA Awards 2022 International Achievement Awards Competition in Pastels

I was honoured to be a finalist in the 2022 IAA Awards International Achievement Awards Competition in Pastels. This juried competition featured entries in in Soft, pan, hard, pencil, and oil pastels juried by Kassandra Kaye, founder of Camelback Gallery, Julia Doemland, American Pastel Society Signature Member and two other industry professionals from the team of Marie McCallum, Kathy Moore Wilson, Hector D. Friends/Members of Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre 2022

The Friends of Joshua Creek Heritage Centre Exhibition begins June 23rd 2022 and continues until August 28th 2022. Come and see this wonderful exhibition at The Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, 1086 Burnhamthorpe Rd E,, Oakville, by a diverse range of artists who support and preserve this urban oasis, with its historic buildings and enriching creative programs. This exhibit will feature “Pondview” pastel, framed 20″ x 16″ and Morrison Creek Ravine Covid Fairy Tree, acrylic, 20″ x 16″.

Impact 2022

Honoured to have “Summer Reflections” pastel, 27″ x 35″ framed is part of the 80 artworks juried into Impact 2022 show at Art Space Connect Gallery at the Neilson Park Cultural Centre, Etobicoke, Toronto. Thank you to juror Azadeh Pirazimian. The exhibition runs from July 19, 2022 to August 5, 2022. The opening reception is Thursday July 21, 7-9pm. in the Art Space Connect Gallery.

All Guilds Show 22

Honoured to have “Winter Walk II”, pastel, 10 x 8″ and “View of Rattlesnake Point”, acrylic, 36 x 48″, juried into the Art Gallery of Burlington All Guild Show 22. Thank you to curator Suzanne Carte and the selection committee. Opening night is Friday May 6, 6-8pm. Register with eventbrite to attend.

This annual exhibition celebrates the guilds who make, learn, share, and teach at the Art Gallery of Burlington including the Burlington Fine Arts Association, Burlington Handweavers and Spinners Guild, Latow Photographers Guild, Burlington Potters Guild, Burlington Rug Hooking Craft Guild, Burlington Sculptors and Carvers and the Digital Art Guild of Burlington.

31st Purely Pastel Annual Juried Exhibition

31st ‘Purely Pastel’ Annual Juried Exhibition by Pastel Artists Canada. “Pinery Sunset” is one of 42 pastels to be exhibited as part of this national juried show. Thank you to jurors juried by Roberta Combs, Cathy Cullis & Kira Sokolovskaia. The exhibition will run from May 31 to June 18, 2022 at Neilson Park Creative Centre in Etobicoke. The opening reception is on June 5, 2022 from 2-4 pm.

51st DVSA Annual Art Auction

The 51st DVSA Annual Art Auction is set to run April 4–9 featuring over 1,200 pieces of art – paintings, pastels, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass, fibre art, jewellery and more. The Artist’s Mark, Burlington Fine Art Association Juried Show

I am delighted to have my pastel painting “Summer Reflections”, 19 x 27″, accepted into BFAA’s The Artist’s Mark Juried show. Thank you to the Artists Mark Committee and sponsors for the tremendous effort put into this project to support local artists. Thank you to jurors Jennifer Heine and Clarence A Porter . This show will be featured at the Hub Gallery, Burlington Centre mall in Burlington from April 22 to May 1, 2022.

Four Season Retreat: Quiet Beauty on Oakville’s Trails
